Zhongao Xuan earned a Master of Professional Studies at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, studying in the Interactive Telecommunications Program. His work spans immersive experience, cinematic art design, interactive installations, digital content, and wearable technology.
He earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Jewelry and Metalsmithing from the Rhode Island School of Design. Originally from China, Zhongao chose to study abroad at the age of fifteen, fostering an early passion for hands-on experimentation with diverse materials. His background in jewelry design focuses on the interaction between the body and contemporary ornamentation. Recently, his exploration of fragmentation has shaped both the formal and conceptual aspects of his practice
